Most guests arrive by fast boat from Bali, either from Padang Bai (approximately 90 minutes) or Sanur (approximately 3.5 to 4 hours). From Lombok International Airport, it’s around two hours by car and boat. The resort can arrange transfers and boat connections on request.
There are no motorised vehicles on Gili Trawangan. You can easily bike around the island, and both pedal and electric bikes are available to rent in various places. Walking is a popular way to get around, as most sites are close by. Cidomos, traditional horse-drawn carts, are also available.

Gili Trawangan offers excellent snorkelling all along its coastline. Some of the best snorkelling is in front of Lotus Almarik Gili, as it is common to spot sea turtles. The resort team can also help arrange boat tours to reefs further out. Snorkelling equipment is available to rent from local operators.
