Each bungalow features elegant furnishings and a Balinese-style open-air design. Away from the busier tourist trails of south Bali, this is a place to slow down, with warm, attentive hospitality from the team, easy access to east Bali’s cultural sites, and some of the island’s most rewarding diving just offshore.

Each bungalow at our Candidasa oceanview resort reflects Bali’s natural beauty, with elegant furnishings and a Balinese-style open-air bathroom. Enjoy refreshments from the minibar or coffee/tea making station on your private veranda. Each room has air conditioning, and drinking water is provided in refillable water pitchers throughout your stay.

Open from 07:00 to 22:00, the restaurant serves Mediterranean and Indonesian dishes prepared with fresh local produce. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available daily, with room service offered for lunch and dinner.

The large pool overlooks the Lombok Strait, with a dedicated children’s area at one end.

Take your yoga or meditation practice to the resort’s dedicated yoga pavilion, set among the tropical gardens. Mats are available to use free of charge.

A free play space for children aged 4 to 10, open daily from 09:00 to 18:00. Children under 4 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or adult.

Our team collaborates with community partners to reduce waste buildup, and we minimise the use of single-use plastics on property. Other sustainability practices at Lotus Bungalows Candidasa include waste composting onsite, eco-friendly cleaning products, LED lighting, and staff education to help reduce waste. Our on-site dive center is a Green Fins Silver Member and PADI Eco Center.

The staff were lovely and the food was exceptional. It was so quiet and relaxing. Water pressure was amazing so showers were great. It’s not the newest resort but I wasn’t bothered one bit. Such incredible value for money. We plan to bring our elderly parents back. The staff were so helpful and caring with the people who had mobility issues. Highly highly recommend.

Excellent service, gorgeous rooms, beautiful and well kept grounds, stunning pool and amazing views! Food was also very good, and extremely helpful staff are always available. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Fantastic experience at Lotus Bungalows. The staff were beyond incredible. They couldn’t do enough for us. We celebrated our son’s 11th birthday there they made two cakes, decorated our room and made such a fuss of him. It was also my husbands birthday as we left at 6am but they still knocked on our door with a cake to sing to him. They made our stay so special. Candidasa is a beautiful, calm place of Bali. It offered tranquility. The room as stunning, the pool was amazing looking over the sea. Food was delicious. Plenty to do even though it is a quiet area of Bali. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you Lotus for all you did for us.

The staff here are wonderful, from the reception to the restaurant to the people behind the scenes makes this place worth visiting. Love the chilled out vibe here.. The resort is approximately 85 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, around 1.5 to 2 hours by car depending on traffic. If you are arriving by ferry, Padangbai harbour is just 12 km away, roughly 20 to 30 minutes by car. Airport and harbour transfers can be arranged through our team or upon request for an additional charge.

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 12:00. Early check-in and late check-out may be available, subject to room availability and may incur an additional charge. If you have any specific requests, please contact our team in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Lotus Bungalows Candidasa sits on Bali’s coastline, with open views of the deep blue ocean. Over the years, the beach has been significantly affected by erosion, so the local government has recently launched a Beach Conservation Project to restore the shoreline. The project includes the construction of an oceanfront promenade, as well as beach nourishment by adding sand to help restore and reshape the beach to its former condition. Once completed, guests will be able to enjoy scenic walks along the shore and access the beach from selected points along the coastline.
