Overwater Bungalows in Raja Ampat
Surrounded by the turquoise blue seawaters of Raja Ampat, each of our 25 overwater bungalows on the uninhabited island of Birie offers total nature immersion. Built on stilts with locally-sourced, traditional materials, each bungalow is a comfortable space and opens onto a veranda backdropped by ocean views.
Superior Bungalows are quaint 70 m² bungalows, perfect for two people, with an open-air design that offers natural ventilation. They are equipped with a king-size bed, sofa, and desk. Each bungalow has a private bathroom and a veranda with views of the beautiful marine life swimming by and vibrant sunsets.
Deluxe Bungalows are 85m², with teak wood furniture and an indoor lounging corner finished with Papuan Asmat artwork. The four-poster King Koil bed and semi-open en-suite elevate this room’s comfort, with a two-tier veranda equipped with a daybed and sundeck.
The largest of our three categories at 98m², Premier Bungalows are the only rooms with air conditioning, alongside teak furniture and an indoor lounging corner. The en-suite bathroom includes a double sink vanity and a bathtub overlooking the ocean, while the veranda’s overwater net bed is an excellent place for stargazing.
