Making a Reservation
We are glad you are planning a stay at Lotus Gangga Island. To complete your booking, simply select your preferred room along with your check-in and check-out dates and number of guests. All 28 of our wooden rooms are non-smoking and designed with your comfort in mind.
Your reservation is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email containing your booking reference and stay details. Please review everything carefully before confirming. If anything needs adjusting, get in touch with us as soon as possible and we will be happy to help.
Reservations are made in the name of the primary guest and are non-transferable without prior agreement from Lotus Gangga.
Cancellations and Changes
We understand that plans sometimes change. Our general cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellations received 45 to 31 days prior to arrival will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received 30 to 16 days prior to arrival will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received 15 to 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to a 75% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received 6 days or less prior to arrival, no-shows, or early departures will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
Date changes are treated as cancellations and require a new booking. Any new booking is subject to availability and the applicable terms at the time of request.

Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. On arrival, fruit, sandwiches, and welcome drinks are waiting for you as a warm welcome to the island.
If you would like to request an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know in advance. Requests are subject to availability and may be subject to an additional charge.
Please have your booking confirmation and a valid form of identification ready at reception upon arrival.
Pool, Beach and Dining
Our large saltwater infinity pool overlooking the ocean is available exclusively for registered guests of Lotus Gangga Island. Additional poolside services include beach beds, complimentary beach towels, drinking water, and afternoon tea with local specialties. Guests are kindly asked to be considerate of others sharing the space and to observe all poolside guidelines.
Our Tuturuga Restaurant serves a selection of Indonesian and international cuisine, with a focus on fresh fish and seafood dishes. An open-air barbecue and themed night space is also available under the coconut trees. The Coconut Bar is open throughout the day for drinks and light refreshments.
Children are welcome and must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times around the pool and beach area.
Currencies and Payment
We accept cash payments in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), US Dollars (USD), and Euros (EUR). Credit card payments via VISA and Mastercard are also accepted at the resort.
Please note that in accordance with regulations from the National Bank of Indonesia, all credit card transactions must be processed in Indonesian Rupiah. The amount will be converted to IDR at the current exchange rate at the time of payment.
All room rates are per room per night and are subject to applicable government taxes and service charges, which will be communicated clearly before your booking is confirmed.

Getting Here
Lotus Gangga Island is located on Gangga Island, off the coast of North Sulawesi. The resort is approximately 70 minutes by car followed by a 20-minute resort boat transfer from Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado, and around 90 minutes by car plus a 20-minute boat transfer from Manado city centre.
Airport transfers can be arranged through us. Please let us know when booking or at least 24 hours before your arrival so we can have everything ready for you upon landing.
What’s Included in Your Stay
All rooms at Lotus Gangga Island include air conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, a private bathroom with hot and cold water shower, hair dryer, bathrobe, mini bar, safety deposit box, and complimentary coffee and tea making facilities. An in-room telephone for internal use is also provided.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at the lobby, along with access to our internet corner. Beach beds and beach towels, daily bottled drinking water, billiards, children’s corner, library, and evening turn-down service are all included during your stay. Baby cots and babysitters are available on request.
Laundry service and extra beds are available at an additional charge. Airport transfers are also available and can be arranged in advance through our reservations team.
Diving with Gangga Divers
Lotus Gangga Island is home to Gangga Divers, a PADI 5-star diving facility operating to the highest international standards of safety and personalised service. All dive guides are qualified PADI Divemasters or Instructors, and diving services are tailored to safely assist divers of all experience levels.
Nitrox 32% is available free of charge. Rental equipment is provided by Aqualung and is regularly maintained to the highest standards. All diving and snorkelling activities are subject to weather and sea conditions and our team will advise accordingly. We recommend booking your dives in advance to secure your preferred schedule.
Guest Responsibility
Lotus Gangga Island is a peaceful retreat surrounded by one of the most biodiverse marine environments in the world. We ask all guests to be respectful of the property, the natural environment, and fellow guests, particularly during the evenings. Any damage to property or facilities caused during a guest’s stay may be charged accordingly.
We cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your stay. We recommend using your in-room safety deposit box for valuables. Guests use all property facilities at their own risk.
The tropical climate on Gangga Island sits between 24 and 32°C. Please take care in the sun, stay hydrated during outdoor activities, and do not hesitate to speak with our team if you need anything during your stay.
Photography
Personal photography for non-commercial use is warmly welcomed throughout the property and on all excursions. With the remarkable marine life and landscapes of North Sulawesi surrounding you, we understand the urge to capture every moment. If you share your photos online, we would love it if you tagged us.
Commercial photography or video production on the premises requires prior written consent from Lotus Gangga Island management. Drone usage is not permitted without approval in line with local regulations.
