Making a Reservation

We are glad you are planning a liveaboard trip with Malaillo. To complete your booking, simply select your preferred cabin type and cruise departure from our available schedules. Lotus Malaillo Liveaboard accommodates a maximum of 14 guests across 3 double cabins and 4 twin cabins, spread across the upper, main, and lower decks.

Your reservation is considered confirmed once the required deposit has been received and you have received a confirmation email containing your booking reference and cruise details.

Upon booking, our team will send you a Malaillo guest booking form. This form is used to collect all required guest information, including flight details, so we can coordinate your transfer to the boat and prepare for your cruise. Please complete the form in full, review all details carefully, and return it to us as soon as possible.

Reservations are made in the name of the primary guest and are non-transferable without prior agreement from Lotus Malaillo Liveaboard.

Cancellations and Changes

We understand that travel plans can change, especially when a liveaboard journey involves flights, transfers, and fixed departure schedules. If you need to cancel your booking, please inform our team as early as possible so we can guide you through the applicable terms.

The following cancellation charges apply:

  • More than 90 days before departure: 20% of the total invoice
  • 89 to 60 days before departure: 50% of the total invoice
  • 59 days or less before departure, or no-show: 100% of the total invoice

If one guest in a double-occupancy cabin cancels 30 days or more before departure, the remaining guest will be required to pay the applicable single supplement fee.

Date changes are treated as cancellations and require a new booking. Any new booking will be subject to availability, the selected departure schedule, and the booking terms in place at the time of the request.

Each cruise requires a minimum of 8 guests to operate. If the minimum number is not reached, Malaillo reserves the right to cancel the cruise up to 3 weeks before departure. In this situation, guests will be offered an alternative programme or a full refund. No further compensation will be provided.

Lotus Malaillo Liveaboard may also need to cancel or adjust a trip due to force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes, severe weather, operational restrictions, or other unavoidable events. If this happens, we will notify guests as early as possible and advise on the next steps.

Because liveaboard travel often involves domestic flights, remote ports, and time-sensitive transfers, we strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure. This can help protect you against unexpected cancellations, delays, medical concerns, or travel disruptions.

To cancel or make changes to your booking, reach us at [email protected].

Guest Responsibility

Malaillo is a shared space and we ask all guests to be respectful of the boat, its crew, and fellow guests throughout the cruise, particularly during rest hours. Any damage to the vessel, equipment, or facilities caused during a guest’s cruise may be charged accordingly.

Please ensure you are medically fit to dive before embarking and inform our team of any relevant health conditions prior to your cruise. Malaillo reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger who, in the opinion of the company, is unfit for travel or whose condition may constitute a danger to themselves or others on the cruise on the grounds of safety.
